Here’s another film featuring brief cameos by the Boys. Hollywood Party was an MGM film from 1934 featuring all of the big stars signed to MGM at the time. Stan and Ollie made numerous film cameos during their long career, but this one is regarded as one of their finest.

In 1964, Judy Garland invited Ken Murray and his famous “Hollywood Home Movies” as a guest on her television program. Ken Murray was known throughout Hollywood for his vast collection of Hollywood’s great stars at play. His fascinating Hollywood home movies delighted Judy… It was her idea to not actually see the footage in advance, wanting to react spontaneously to the home movies as she views them live. Her running commentary with Ken is both delightful and amusing as Judy, of course, personally knew many of the stars in the films since her early years at MGM.
Here is a fascinating “bonus” glimpse of some of Hollywood’s great stars in candid moments…
